Activities
The
school offers a wide range of extra curricular activities for
all pupils.
Sporting
Activities
The
school promotes physical exercise in the forms of a varity
of activities such as, Netball, Hockey, Rugby, Football,
Cross Country, etc.
The
school makes use of the University of Wales' Blaendolau
playing fields for its annual sports day and swimming
takes place in the Towns Leisure centre.

Club
Activities
The
school runs a number of clubs such as Chess, Reading, Homework
and after-school and plans to introduce a breakfast club
are now underway.
The
Urdd Club ( Welsh League of Youth) meets once a fortnight
after school and different activities are organised to promote
the Welsh language and culture e.g. visits, craft, book
quiz, games and competing in the Urdd Eisteddfod. |

Excursion
Activities
The
Urdd education centre at Llangrannog plays an integral
part in
promoting the Welsh language as part of our bilingual
policy which ensures that both English and Welsh are developed
fully.
Trips to the Glanllyn Urdd camp near Bala is also a popular
choice amongst pupils.

Music
Activities
Music
is popular with an outstanding number of children learning
the violin, ‘cello, harp, trumpet and guitar. The
children also enjoy the creative activities and singing.
The school choir are often invited to entertain in the local
community. |
